What expectations did you have beforehand?

We had a pretty good idea of what kind of candidate we were looking for for the Northeast Netherlands Account Manager position. The previous procedure for an Account Manager in the Netherlands had gone well, so our expectations for finding another new colleague were quite high.

Unfortunately, this procedure did not go as smoothly. There were not so many responses and therefore it all took a little longer. That was annoying for everyone. Fortunately, Mitchell did fit in very well with us and we are very satisfied with him.

What is the reality like?

Mitchell comes from a completely different industry, where he was used to different sales techniques. As a result, he had to switch gears quite a bit when he started with us. It really took him out of his comfort zone.

In terms of personality, he fits us very well. He has an enormous will to score, is very willing to give everything, but also quite impatient. With his refreshing enthusiasm and commitment, he more than makes up for that. That is why we gave him a permanent contract earlier than expected.

And in the short time he has been working for Delta Plus Systems, he is already successful there.

What is your Return on Investment?

The offer of the permanent contract already indicates that we are very satisfied. In terms of sales, he has done well with the roofers in the northeast of the Netherlands. It was very difficult for us to get in there. And in the short time that he has been working for Delta Plus Systems, he is already successful there.

What logically takes more time are the big projects. For that, Mitchell has to sow a lot first. He can probably really reap the results of that next year. Patience is important here. We may be just as impatient as Mitchell, but as long as you express that to each other, it is very manageable.
