Challenge
With a team of 35 colleagues, Velde fills about 400 vacancies each year. Despite a structured process, they ran into a common bottleneck: the hard-to-capture human dimension of a candidate – think motivation, character and communication style – sometimes got lost between the live interview and internal reporting. Core competencies, resumes and salary expectations were easy to capture, but the fine-grained, often informal aspects from the interview rarely found their way into the report.
